Our Story

Pragmatica, LLC, headquartered in Gilbert, Arizona, is a leading provider of software solutions and services. The journey began in 2001 when the Maricopa County Integrated Criminal Justice Information System (ICJIS) collaborated with Pragmatica to develop an information portal aimed at supporting and enhancing the operations of law enforcement agencies in Arizona. This collaboration led to the creation of Pragmatica’s flagship product, the Justice Web Interface (JWI), a state-of-the-art web portal designed for law enforcement and criminal justice agencies.

JWI serves as a hub for communication, collaboration, and information sharing among state, local, federal, and tribal justice entities, offering a modern, user-friendly interface. Accessible securely through web browsers on both PCs and mobile devices, JWI provides an essential centralized platform that enables authorized users to exchange crucial data and information concerning individuals, vehicles, weapons, incidents, and other pertinent justice and public safety data. Today, JWI is trusted and utilized by hundreds of agencies worldwide.

Building on the success of its collaboration in Maricopa County, Pragmatica has continued to innovate and develop additional solutions to support the broader field of justice and public safety. These endeavors have been made possible through partnerships with key organizations and agencies such as the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission, the Arizona Administrative Office of the Courts , ICJIS, Nlets (the International Justice and Public Safety Network), and the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS).
